He stretched to make a tackle and looked like knee bent awkwardly when he impacted the ground. |
Also took a lateral shunt to the knee / just above it from the Liverpool player (no malice) as he planted his stretched leg, which compounded or caused the awkward / unnatural bend. Seeing his pain, seeing how delicately they wrapped his leg and built the supports underneath him, I fear that's his season to be honest. [Post edited 25 Jan 2025 15:36]

I thought 'only' medial at first, but unfortunately I think there was a bit of fore and aft displacement as well. |  |
