Not masses to be fair - very quick and very hardworking as can get up and down all day, not seen enough of him to say whether or not has good end product - but it wasn't something that instantly stood out like it can with some

I would have thought IF Davis goes then Townsend is the replacement surely? I think he can count himself unlucky he hasn't had more minutes, personally...

He's played in the Premiership or championship throughout his career and hasn't played at any level lower than that..

Think he's a bit better defensively than Leif...

Based on what? We have hardly seen him.

In the Liverpool game , great getting forward , couple of very good crosses into the box.
Defensively , nothing to say he is better defensively than Leif.

West Brom fans ( in their forum posts at the time of the transfer) were glad to see him go, saw him as a weak link in their defence but better going forward. They were happy with the fee they got as didn’t expect anything. They will have seen a lot more of him than we have and at championship level.

At the time of the signing it sounded like a back up and same type of player as Leif ( attacking left back) but with some Premier experience under his belt in case Leif got an injury. Which is how the first half of the season has played out.

As others have pointed out , at his age , he’s hardly one for the future.

Another case of , player not in the team when we are struggling..therefore must be great.

Used to see it all the time with Kenlock in the same position.
That worked out well didn’t it.

If the Chelsea player Boniface has something about him, and signs for us , then KM will improve him further as he has done with many young players , and he would then be likely Leifs replacement if he leaves in the future.

Good decision by the lad, has a greater 'chance' here than at Chelsea.

Looks at like a good athlete, well developed physically and technical quality you'd expect being at Chelsea.

Probably a long term project rather than anything short term, as with Tudor-Mendel.
