Wolves have played really well. Helped by a nervous naive Liverpool. How many times can they give the ball away?

Got to give it to Wolves they've played really well, sadly that will give them confidence for their next few games

They didn’t. Though a few more goals would have been welcome.

Still all for us to play for.

phew.

And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show

Thought Liverpool were poor.

But I agree with the point made on another thread. Wolves look physically stronger than us.

Why wasn't Jotta booked for 'simulation' for the overturned penalty? Appalling.
Liverpool were really weak thay second half...along with the officials.

“Stronger than us” - agreed and just about every Prem team has seemed the same. We do seem lightweight - I hadn’t expected quite the average Prem player to be quite so strong to be honest. I wonder if even KM got caught out be this physicality?

I think it is fair to point out that the game load on Liverpool is completely different to Wolves. We have just played a CL team, but they had just had the week off - Wolves are playing Liverpool after the extra game midweek - and they were not jogging through that game - and a much busier upcoming schedule with Villa away on Wednesday. Don’t blame them for keeping a bit back and playing within themselves.

I am not saying we would have done better than Wolves - they have so many strong experienced PL players and the extraordinary Cunha - but it is def not a fair comparison with our match at Anfield.
