We looked solid enough at Birmingham, our issue was more our own attacking patterns of play not getting going. Changing system isn't going to help that. |  |

He did a few times last season, Greaves/Burgess, Woolf, and O'Shea. Especially when Axel was injured. When we played Axel at right back we flexed between a back 3 and back 4. The shape has always been pretty fluid to be fair, Donacien often used to tuck in as a third CB when McKenna first came in. | |

We played three at the back against Arsenal, Fulham, and Chelsea. It was a more conventional back three rather than the flexible way we've always played under McKenna where the right back can tuck in as a third CB when needed. | |

Matusiwa Taylor and Humphreys 3 man midfield
Two tacklers and allow Humpreys the freedom to roam and pop those lovely balls across the pitch, put balls into the box etc

Both are direct and can go past a man and give us a threat on the counter. They can carry the ball up the pitch too. Nobody in your suggested team offers that, it looks really unbalanced. | |
