Yep. Don’t underestimate the potential pull of being seen as a place to develop and secure a dream move. And then hopefully at point we can cross that line from feeder club to established PL end destination. | |

It's the hope that kills you. If it's a vaguely known quantity from our leagues there will always be a naysayer or seven to dampen expectations. But when it's out of the blue and an unknown it's fresh and exciting and less sullied by know it alls. See also the Mexican and the Uruguayan.

It’s a bit sad, but I’m quite fascinated with ownership models of clubs, I.e City Group, Red Bull Group and the one FC Nordsjælland are a part of, The Right to Dream group.
In turn I take a bit of interest in those clubs and that way build up a bit of knowledge about them and their players. FC Nordsjælland predominantly sign players from Ghana (where the Group began in), so is an interesting concept. They’re not adverse to local talent either, they had a lad called Andreas Schjelderup who they sold to Benfica for big money a couple years back also. |  |

Nothing sad about that. Do you think our owners have any plans to broaden and more formalise a larger group? I’ve been surprised we’ve not done more with Pheonix Rising. Even if it’s not suitable for player swaps, I’d have thought we’d have had a friendly or tour one way or the other. But maybe their league schedule in the summer makes that difficult. I wonder if we’ll see them acquire another European club. | |

I think that’s the long term aim. Funnily enough, another forum user who has a bit more ITK knowledge than me mentioned a few weeks back that we had looked at a club in Slovakia (I think it was there). | |

Think the only player I had any knowledge on from that league is Dju, mainly because I bought him for Ipswich in FM and he was rather good.
Having watched him a little, I always thought he'd be alright in our system as well. Got the physicality and can hold up the ball but has great pace to boot. |  |
