He has settled well, and when Cajuste finds his flow, we’ll have a strong partnership in there. It’s the front 4 in front of Matusiwa the puzzle to piece together at the moment.

(n/t) on 21:43 - Aug 23 with 598 views | FrimleyBlue | I don't see how morsy changes what we've had so far Greaves had been involved in the lead up to all 3 goals conded this season We struggle to get shots on target We're not getting enough shots on goal in dangerous positions and not connecting with many of our crosses. Personally I don't see how morsy changes this. What we do have an issue with imo is clarke who just isn't working in a town shirt. Taylor who is far far away from a top champ midfielder, Sammy s who is not a ball spraying attacking midfielder. And Davis who's had his identity removed. Morsy has been replaced. That part of the side is sorted.

No mention of Hirst? Thought he had a really poor game, wouldn't have noticed if he wasn't on the pitch. Maybe not his fault as he was given very limited supply. But he also didn't bring other players in to the game anywhere near as much as I would have expected him to.

Genuinely feel likes he's been training differently He's body shaping looks different. He's trying the delap turn way way to much imo. He doesn't imo look like the hirst we were used too. That in itself is a problem. As he's not a prolific scorer as shown by him wasting two chances today. If he's not being a goal contributor and not scoring goals. He becomes a byproduct.

Cajuste is magic. Ridiculous we have him in this league.

Morsy has gone and who can blame him if he can get a contract for more than a year. Maybe there was a way in that we offered him a one year, but on much better terms. But it's all about money these days either way, Taylor is now in his third season and has not proved good enough. Why KM is persisting with him can only be because we lack a player to play in that position, But it still begs the question that if we get someone in we are still left with Taylor as a player to come on.

Played OK, but has not got Morsys leadership qualities to nice to have a go at players for not doing their jobs.

Though perhaps we could have at least held on to Morsy to play him with Matusiwa until Cajuste and whoever else we elect to bring in were signed and match fit. He may not be upgrade on Matusiwa, but he certainly is on Taylor.

You really need the old captain gone when you give the armband to someone else. I am not convinced Morsy would have been much good for us this year. 2023/24 Morsy might have been, but 2025/26 Morsy is a lesser player.

Allow Morsy to keep the captaincy with O'Shea as vice captain until he left. Then simply promote O'Shea.

It doesn't work you need a complete break. New captain always needs 100% of the squads focus.
