They love a drama, don’t they? They have had a poor start to the season, that’s all. And long may it continue. They believe they have a God-given right to be at the top end. If they had three seasons in League 1 now, they would all be supporting Diss Town
Not really. After the initial investment, sacking of a perfectly good manager, and appointment of the eejit, ME decided to withdraw, both in terms of investment and management, effectively leaving Mick McCarthy and Lee O'Neil to struggle on for years on minimal funding support, before making things even worse with the appointments of Hurst and Lambert.
I think Attanasio will always invest, but hopefully he loses interest at some point during a bleak 13 year tenure and sells the club, preferably to a Chansiri type.

They really have to be the most fickle bunch in football dont they ... How long has it been that they been out of the PL and struggling ? Trey 20 yrs with no money , no proper backing , losing two entire decent squads for sod all return financially . Here;s hoping they suffer many , many , many years of what we went through , then we'll see how "loyal" they really are .

They were in Sunday's game a lot longer than they should have been.

In fairness they have spent best part of last couple of decades either in Prem or top end of the championship. A lot of fans have understandably got used to that.
Add to that, they have spent £55m on this current squad with the ‘ambition’ stated to be challenging for top 6 as a minimum, which fans have obviously got on board with (the ambition that is) but the squad have so far fallen well short of coming close.
