Articulate, honest and good humoured as ever. He's staying. But I think it should be a wake up call for Town fans to realise again (if they don't already) how lucky we are to have him and show him that.

Journo: Lots of Ipswich fans would like you to stay forever..

KM: 'Well maybe not all...'

Self deprecating comment said with a wry smile but make no mistake he notices everything. He'll have no problem with criticism but I expect he feels a little bit cheesed off with some in the way they've reacted to fairly routine setbacks.

I thought all the Celtic questions were played with a very straight bat but left enough room to get out of if he does leave.

Of course he doesn’t read it but I bet a pound to a penny somebody in the football club does. It’s free intel and they’d be crazy not to look at it if only to dismiss it.

Absolutely. They'd be mad/negligent not to.

They'd also be mad to take much of it seriously as well mind...

Not really any need for him to feel cheesed off

footballs always been a simple game with managers, you win, you're loved, you don't you wont be.

As a manager he's had a terrible 18 months, context is key absolutely, but points and result wise it's been awful, there would always be a small % who won't like that run, likewise and rightfully there is a still a large majority who don't care about the last 18 months and are happy to keep going on this journey

IF he is interested in the celtic job, but is a bit cheesed off at a small % of town fans, then moving to a bigger club probably isn;t the best move for him for another few years.

Yep. That’s why I think Mark Ashton is the greatest football executive in the world.

As I said during the Hurst/Lambert era. Any manager who makes adjustments as a result of 'advice' from places like this. doesn't deserve to keep their job.

I personally think he's well within his rights to be disappointed with some groups of fans and particularly those sarcastically cheering substitutions etc

The small % who haven't liked our recent run made themselves heard, especially on Saturday in a winning performance and he is well within his rights to be frustrated by that, as he's shown.

Each to their own BB, I think after the last 18 months to have a very very small % make a noise, it's nothing to even think about. Theyll soon turn around once we've got moving up the table

Oh 100% and I'm sure it's nothing more than just a throw away comment.

But if you put yourself in his position, having achieved what he's achieved for a club that was going nowhere, you'd be a little bit miffed by that small %.
