How many times does this happen. Millwall were 10 points ahead of Hull in the league...10 points!
I remember WHU doing exactly the same thing to us... grabbed 6th slot with the last kick of the league game and then beat us ( we were 3rd and 17pts ahead of them ), on the PO's..... I think Forrest cocked up a simple ball into the box in the first few mins ...that was it we were done. |  |

Hull have beaten Saints home and away this season, and beaten Boro away.... won't be an easy game for either, and I can see a Hull tactical masterclass, they have a very good coach. |  | | |

You’re right in that next season will be farcical given the probable points gap between 3rd and 8th, when the 8th placed club could actually get promoted. |  |

Maybe, but everyone knows the rules at the start of the season. I daresay that if we had found ourselves in Millwall's position tonight I would be incandescent with the injustice of it but it would only have been our own fault for not making sure if finishing second. | |
