Why will it be tougher than last time. Leeds and Sunderland stayed up, the latter of which will have a much tougher time this season, Hull are considerably weaker than any side in the division. Two established PL teams in Wolves and Wet Sham have dropped out of the league and we did some of the Premier League recruitment in 2024.
If anything it'll be marginally easier. |  |

I do question sometimes if people actually watch Ipswich play when they say stuff like this.
Why would O'Neil liking hard working teams be a black mark against Jaden Philogene, who is one of our hardest working players and best players off the ball. That is arguably his best attribute.
If you have concerns about his size or how he will measure up against elite full backs that's a different conversation but hard work is not an issue. |  |

I would rather keep him. He has the ability, and he's familiar with the club. We need those types of player rather than an unknown quantity that takes time to settle.
My worry is that his change of agents will see them looking for a move.
If he does want a move, then we should cash in as we need committed players. |  |

Don’t think he would be a loss. To lightweight as are quite a few of the side. The team as it stands is nowhere near Premier League ready. Less so than last time. If it means getting big athletic grafters through the door then Im not fussed who goes really. Not much affinity with any of them. [Post edited 9 Jul 14:04]

I actually though at times last season the bad games that Jaden had were when he struggled on the ball and couldn't get in to the game or create enough. But even in those games he would give you something off the ball [Post edited 9 Jul 14:22]
