![]() Friday, 4th Mar 2011 09:46 Town striker Connor Wickham has been named the npower Championship Player of the Month for February. Wickham, who scored four goals during the month including his first senior hat-trick in the 6-0 defeat of Doncaster, beat Matty Fryatt of Hull, Leicester’s Andy King and QPR's Heidar Helguson to pick up the gong. Boss Paul Jewell told the club site: “We're obviously delighted for Connor. It's been a good month for him, with the hat-trick at Doncaster and some very good performances around that. "A lot has obviously been spoken about Connor and he's got loads of potential. He is making good progress and we don't have to try and keep his feet on the ground either because he's a very level-headed lad."
