Town Move for Mohsni Saturday, 8th Sep 2012 10:18 Town are understood to have approached Southend regarding loaning defender Bilel Mohsni with a view to a permanent deal in January. On Monday, TWTD revealed that the 25-year-old was spending the week on trial with the Blues.
The French-Tunisian put in an assured display and scored a 30-yard second-half strike during yesterday’s 6-0 U21s victory over Cardiff City at Playford Road.
Mohsni has a year left on his contract and although Southend are willing to let him move on, last month they turned down an offer of around £150,000 from West Ham after the versatile Paris-born defender, striker or winger impressed while on trial at Upton Park. The Shrimpers were said to want a significantly higher sum.
Football League clubs are able to sign players on 93-day ‘emergency’ loans from today.

If he's half decent then lets get him in on loan and have a look at him. Come on guys we cant afford to be expecting Bobby Moore to be around do we?! First thing I thought initially was where are the bells and hump?!

He looks like a kind of 'wrong' Nicolas Anelka. He also looks sort of horsey. Perfect for us then. Put a nosebag on him and I guess he may do a kind of adequate David Linighan type of a job.

Righty is entitled to his comments because he has never made a mistake in his life, knows all the answers to everything and definitely could do a great job as a manager because he has great motivational prowess and also comes up with lots of good and positive suggestions. I do rather wish he sat behind me every game. No really I do.

I don't post messages often. Don't know why because I look at this site at least three times a day, but I've just had a nose at the few comments I have made, and I must admit to not having been all that positive myself. Which is a surprise to me, because really I think it is our job to blindly support everyone involved with ITFC for as long as they're present. And you're allowed one hate figure tops. My last one was Mark Kennedy who was bloody hopeless and then moaned at his team-mates after being hopeless. Now he's a coach, so good on you, MK. At the moment I just love them all! Come on you blue boys - and I, for one, will never boo and never moan (loudly) because it does no bloody good. Which makes me wonder why I bothered moaning about the soul-destroying negativity of Righty and his ilk. So I'll just shut up forever now. COYB!

besitfc, blind faith mate! Jewell got to the end of the transfer window and panicked, end of! The money has been there all along and Jewell has continually failed to get the deals done. 1.75m+ can buy you at least 2 quality CBs. Jewell Out!!!

The bitchin' on this site recently has been pure comedy gold! Lets hope that PJ has picked a pearler just like he has in Cresswell and hopefully in Hewitt aswell.

Sounds like he could potentially become a kind of cult hero, and maybe improve the atmosphere at portman rd and get the crowds back. There isn't much better than the sight of a whole hearted player charging about the pitch, getting crunching tackles in and geeing up the crowd.

Is this guy right or left footed?
ArnieMsBigToe added 10:01 - Sep 9
Keanish: It sounds to me as if he goes in with both feet!! Definitely like the sound of him though. At the risk of repeating myself, yet again, it was RK that ruined ITFC, and I think that PJ was under a lot of pressure to fix things quickly. Credit to him for realising that he had made a mistake. But now, with the likes of Cresswell, Taylor, Hewitt and a few more, I personally think that he is now moving ITFC in the right direction.

Ha! Need a bit of steel in our side! Welcome any defenders at present! For anyone questioning our inability in the transfer market in general though you have to take a look at what Nottingham Forest have achieved in getting players in: Ayala, Lansbury, Collins, Halford, Coppinger, Sharp... I'd take all of them!! All but one of them have been linked to us at some stage in the past too.

Wow there are a bunch of f-----g c---s on here. Having a go at a guys appearance. How pathetic is that. It's just a bad photo anyway, the guy is a beaut. He sounds quality. If we can snatch him from the likes of west ham and Blackpool then perfect.

I can see if we get promoted next season, or when we start going on amazing winning runs this season, this site will be a ghost town! Not wanting a player to sign based on their looks is pretty petty, apart from if your a women, that would be understandable! lol, so on that basis, whoever commented on his looks is indeed a woman. Supporting your team is not supposed to be surrounded by constant negativity. A minority make it seem to in my eye's thrive off being miserable. Yes, there are somethings that we dont all agree with, which is fair enough, but on this story! really?? He's wanting to sign this player who top championship teams were after, and some dont want to him to sign!??You're havin a laugh! Dont want to sign premiership rejects, dont sign lower league players, lets face it Jewell cant win with some people. I dont think i could be a manager!

Ooops ! Soz , think I hit the wrong button - posted before editting and finishing post sorry. continues ...... I would LOVE IT if this player signs for us. He would give us much needed grit in an other wise mamby pamby Ipswich Town side that other Championship clubs see as a push over. Yes he may have a short fuse . So did Tarrico, but I would love him back in the team even now. This Southend player can play CB and Striker, and I just hope Clegg can sort this deal out, however regarding this issue Im not so sure !
lonelyblue added 12:51 - Sep 9
Let's hope that he's more Tarrico than Bruce. I think he looks rather elegant, so let's have him in the team. It's something to talk about.
