Wednesday, 6th Sep 2017 09:37
Blues striker Kieffer Moore, who is spending the season on loan at Rotherham, has been nominated for the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month award for August.
Moore, 25, joined the Millers in July along with right-back Josh Emmanuel, who is also at the New York Stadium for the season, and has made an impressive start to the campaign, scoring four goals from three starts including a hat-trick against Southend.
The other nominees are ex-Town striker Jack Marriott, who has netted six times in four games since joining Peterborough from Luton in the summer, Charlton’s Patrick Bauer and Fleetwood keeper Alex Cairns. The winner will be announced on Friday.

End of Season Grades by BlueBloke

I wake up at 5.30am. I’d like to say it was in anticipation of watching the Town. Sadly, it owes rather a greater deal to an abhorrently early alarm on Tuesday morning and a very late night on Thursday. Still, now that I’m conscious I may as well start thinking about the day ahead.

As a 15-year-old I make my way to Portman Road full of anticipation and anxiety. Our rivals, Burnley, are playing at home to already relegated Chelsea. A home win must be on the cards. On the following Tuesday they will play their game in hand against Sheffield Wednesday. However, Town are top of Division One and facing Aston Villa.
