Interesting stuff in the KOA interview
at 18:27 17 Feb 2022

He didn’t ‘save us’ he bought us. If he didn’t buy us there was a queue of other suiters willing to. In that queue were Gold and Sullivan who although not everyone’s cup of tea are a damn site more successful at running football clubs. Evans is a shark and why we accept this ‘saved us’ narrative is beyond me.

Jackson did ok. His movement was good and he pushed

Aye and Norwood frustrated me when he came on. His contrived attempts to be a ‘sh1thouse’ just totally disrupted our flow and nearly cost us a last minute goal.

the play higher up the pitch. However, he carried little threat and doesn’t have a great deal of quality with the ball. For all the strengths our different strikers have, I think what they lack is what KM is looking for in his front man. KJ is probably the closest in this regard with his pace and energy but we just need a much better version.

It will be interesting to see what happens in the summer. Will we give Norwood another year? Will we go all out for Bonne and will we really offer Jackson a new deal? I reckon KM will want to clear the decks in that position and find his man. Obviously a lot depends on whether we manage to miraculously gain promotion but either way i think KM wants a specific type of front man. Not necessarily a goal scorer but maybe someone who opens up space for the likes of Chappers and Santi - which poses another question about how we will look to replace Celina next season?

KM is a very impressive young man and one who seems to fit the ITFC DNA perfectly. 🤞🏽 He continues to perform and builds a long term legacy here.

A fabulous win and a clean sheet.

Well done lads, what a fantastic professional performance. Let's keep winning. Reminds me of those early Lambert league 1 games where we just kept getting wins.

You need to be taking the highest moral high ground on everything my friend. A frivolous tongue in cheek comment on such a grave matter will see you condemned to eternity.

without looking into it, is he not your archetypal one season wonder? What about that Piggott chap who has been doing it for a few years at Wimbledon?

ME getting closer to buying Huddersfield
at 12:40 14 Jan 2022

So, does he appoint Cook who then chases Walton, Evans, Morsy and Chappers? Lodges a bid for all four at £375k with performance related extras.

Work - what's the best piece of 'work' you've ever done?
at 11:36 13 Jan 2022

With a childhood friend, we were part of a team of volunteers that helped build a school near Arusha in Tanzania. The most rewarding thing anyone can do. Not been able to head back to Africa since but certainly something I'm proud of along with nearly a decade of work in the NHS in the 90s/00s before the hospital I worked in closed. Some great friends made.

oh and being called 'petal' and derided by Herbivore and the TWTD mob ranks pretty high.
