I'm not really one to moan about the mainstream media, but May is really getting off colossally lightly at the moment.
May has campaigned locally to abolish the parking charges at her local hospital. Not a word.
And the lack of comment on her wholesale purloining of a (popular, but certainly-not-free-market) Miliband policy is somewhat surprising.
Plus she's not debating Corbyn, hardly meeting the public and barely answering the media's questions. But the media are so worried about being denied the limited access they do have they just follow along. |  |

Yep. Dimbleby this morning effectively excusing their decision to not go ahead with a live debate on the grounds of it not being impartial. If the Beeb invited all leaders to a debate they are being impartial. If May then decides to not attend, that's nothing to do with the Beeb. It shouldn't be used as an excuse to scrap a format and change it to something that May wants instead. |  |
