Morning all. At midnight on Sunday we switched over to a much more powerful server. A move which took less than 7 minutes which I'm quite proud of (thanks Mark for your help).
The move was necessary because I've just flicked a switch meaning our web address is now https://www.twtd.co.uk and not http://www.twtd.co.uk. All communication with our server and your browsers is now done via SSL which means everything is encrypted.
One of the reasons for doing this is that Google prefers secure sites, and is better for you too so your passwords are doubly encrypted when you post them to our server when you log in. We were going to do this later in the summer but I was reliably informed that these rogue ad redirects were a cause of us not on an SSL server.
So please let me know if you see anything wobbly going forward. Regarding the server, not er, anything else. No photos of jellies or NSFW images, thanks.
I'd like to hear if you received any redirects also. That's a work in progress and top of my to-do list to stop that from happening and we've put significant resource into this.
(football category so everyone is able to see this)

Ok I'll take a look at Chrome. Ta.
I think someone the other day was saying that they had the same problem with a scam firefox update so whatever it is seems to to mimic your chosen browser.
“Hello, I'm your MP. Actually I'm not. I'm your candidate. Gosh.”
Boris Johnson canvassing in Henley, 2005.
Almost instantaneous response for each page I flick through on this site. And it has an extra layer - encryption - to deal with too. Seems you've gone from a 1.4economy to a 3.0turbo - nice one.
Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?

Well that certainly shouldn't be the case. Is that every page? What browser and device are you using?
Every TWTD page Browser = comodo dragon ( basically chrome) PC
I have tried with other browsers, it all looks OK on firefox, padlock symbol by the site, on Chromodo, another chrome build of browser, the padlock has a yellow triangle, which apparently is a warning that the site uses Domain Validation, so maybe it is that that comodo dragon is objecting to as well.

We've looked into Comodo Dragon and it seems there is beef between themselves and the company that issued our security certificate. It looks like Comodo Dragon issue certificates and there was a trademark dispute with the company that we've used.
It looks like your browser is the only one that isn't happy, but if you click more info, (and ignore their misspelling of "your") it does say it's secure. All other browsers are ok.
There may be issues with an odd graphic here and there which is deemed to be insecure, and some images that people post may break our security.

Did you spell "There may be issues with an odd graphic designer here and there which is deemed to be insecure, and some images that people post may break our security." wrongly?
