Scum ticket sales are 'over 21,000' 11:22 - Oct 17 with 20069 views | The_Romford_Blue | According to ITFC. Had to change my direct debit to a new account earlier today and asked them whilst I was on the line. That's p1ss poor assuming it's under 22k then. [Post edited 17 Oct 2017 11:22]

You mean like the 1999-00, the year we got promoted when the gate for Norwich game was 21700.

yeah, back then 21,700 would have been close to a sell out ... may have even been one with increased segregation accounted for ...

Scum ticket sales are 'over 21,000' on 12:26 - Oct 17 with 8680 views | maccyd9 | I'd be up for the club selling tickets at a tenner a piece just to fill it out. I know realistically it was cause hassle with ST holders and people who have already brought a ticket but personally speaking as a ST holder, I just want that ground full for this game. If they are winning when the attendance get's read out it it will be humiliating.

That would explain it then - though it wasn’t the highest attendance of the season, which suprisingly also wasn’t the playoff home leg. Do your remember which year all seating came in and reduced the capacity to that level? At least we’re not plumbing the depths of 95-95 when we only managed 17447. [Post edited 17 Oct 2017 12:39]

Scum ticket sales are 'over 21,000' on 12:33 - Oct 17 with 8634 views | J2BLUE | Shocking. Lots of reasons though. Apathy, feeling that we'll get beaten, cost, our dip in form, style of football (reputation even if it's less true now), defensive line ups, key injuries, televised on Sky and people getting into the habit of not going. I'm part of the problem. I was gutted to give my ST up all those years ago. I couldn't imagine not being at every home game. Now it's just normal. Watching it on Sky with my mate. In my armchair. Separate armchairs... Edit: Just to be clear, those aren't my reasons, just possible reasons why it will be so low. [Post edited 17 Oct 2017 12:47]

Wouldn't be against that. Or how about 'giving away' some tickets again to NHS etc?

Lower attendances are not really shocking if people would prefer to watch the East Anglian derby from their armchairs...

if you are in decent health, within a drive or walk to the ground I see no good reason why you'd not be there for a local Derby game. How anyone can say they are a fan but not be there is something I can't get head around

22-23000 before we went up, remember being so excited to see 21,000+ on the scored board! As a side note, watched the 5-0 back, Norwich didn't sell out their allocation...

As I said last time, it's a case of go on my own or watch it with a mate. I've been before on my own plenty of times. It's ok but not great. I tried to convince him to go but he didn't want to.

My view, possibly harsh, is that anyone who can go who chooses not to should be muzzled afterwards. Derby games are often close and can swing on a referee's decision or one passage of play and a loud, large home crowd can help. Choose not to go and you forfeit the right to criticise afterwards.

Where do we draw the line? If we get to the play off final for example, we've been in this division 15 years. I had a ST for 7 of those and have attended quite a few other games in that time. Would I deserve a ticket?
