But Celina scored. And somehow Town won by that goal alone. Poor Waghorn has hardly been mentioned. Maybe his doesn't count the same.

You don't have to 'pass it around' to be entertaining to watch. And plenty of people we unimpressed with the style even during the play off season.

Pathetic on 23:03 - Oct 28 with 4124 views | BadgerBajner | You need to take a long hard look at the teams we've beaten (6 of the them against the bottom 7). It's not as if we can say we played them off the park in the wins against Birmingham, Barnsley, Millwall, Brentford, Bolton and Burton off the park is it? The table doesn't lie, so lets see where we are at the end of the year playing like this.

You have just signed off that the table doesn’t lie, having just argued that the table is currently lying

I think Mick would argue the only truthful table for this season will be the one on May 6th 2018 at approximately 2.30pm.

He’d also probably argue that right now the only truthful table is the current one

He would to an extent but I'm sure he's said before the only table that matters is the one at the end of the season - which is very much correct!

Why? They love their team. If I wasn't an Ipswich fan I wouldn't give a flying f*ck if Mick stayed here or not. People want him to go/stay because they love their team. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

To be fair, the OP is throwing down the gauntlet & calling people's swathes of criticism "pathetic". Ignoring the fact that people had actually attended.

Exactly, to say we are 10th, 1 point off the play offs is covering over the actual situation that we have been poor so far this season. The wins against the lesser sides have kept us away from relegation. By the end of the year we will have played every team, then we will see our real position.

Well support the team them. Support the Club and that includes every bit of it. MM is the manager whether some like it or not. He is more experienced than the terrace managers on here so let him do his job. If anyone criticised you in your job as much as he is in his you would be well pi##ed off wouldn't you especially from people who knew very little about the job you were doing Remember that and remember when we were in the play offs playing similar football everyone was happy!! Short memories and big under experienced (football management) mouths

I reckon we’ll be above most teams we’ve beaten and below most teams we’ve lost to

We haven’t been poor this season. We started well, looked decent, but have been off the boil of late. But only the top three teams have won more games that us, only Wolves have scored more goals than us (we’ve scored 50% more goals than the Budgies, for instance). We’re a point off the play offs with a game in hand.

Only 6 teams have lost more than us. Also Hull have apparently scored more goals than us. Only 7 teams have let in more than us. Stats can be misleading though if you pick and choose ones. We just haven't drawn many games so you can use either statistic to justify the point you want. If you want to rave about us, use yours, if you want to say we aren't that good you can use the one above. Those early games, we played OK and got very fortunate that we scored a high %age of our chances. These recent games we aren't. Any team with a bit of quality we seem to fail to win. Pathetic on 20:25 - Oct 28 by lloydy84 | I think their argument is that they would rather gamble with a lesser known manager with perceived potential who could turn a club like ours (lower champ funds) into a promotion chasing team, but more likely has us in a relegation battle. They would be happier than having Mick, who will always over achieve but with a boring style. |
