This is real Judean People's Front territory.
OK - what have Gollivan done for us?
Apart from the new stadium, playing in the Premier League etc etc.
The "right" to have a pint & go to the loo during the half time interval is laughable.

Imagine ME doing that with OUR hard lads to try and dampen down the chats of 'your football is sh1t'. You'd certainly think twice about doing it if you knew that a couple of spotty youths, a bloke with some wedding photos on a memory stick and a racist pensioner were going to want a word if you did.

Urgh. Horrible club, with some horrible owners and some some horrible fans. There are idiots everywhere, but they seem to have more than their fair share for some reason.

Edit - at least they're not over-reacting, much! http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/west-ham-united-liver

Still, at least some have the balls to do something if they don't like how their club is run, even if I don't agree with their methods.

They do have a point though, this is a typical reflection of how most East End working class feel their lives have gone in general.

This comment rings true.

Except that's not true. Association football otherwise known as 'soccer' split from rugby which was a public school game.

"Those wider concerns for identity underlie a lot of this, and directly fire the situation. Kearns is one fan who feels some of this is wrapped up in the “distinctive mythology” about West Ham, a willingness to embrace “glorious failure”, and “a fetishisation of one of the few things they’ve ever been best at: hooliganism”, and principally through the ICF."
