We don’t have a manager otherwise, or any coaching staff. If McCarthy left now, so would Terry Connor and the DoF.
Klug and some of his coaches could step in, but they have other jobs to do. We’ve cut back over recent years, so I don’t suspect there’s many people sitting around twiddling their thumbs.
If Evans finds someone in the next fortnight, McCarthy will go as soon as his successor is appointed.
