I liked Frank, constant effort of course but occasionally something clicked and he was unplayable. That 2-1 home win over Derby comes to mind, we won that because their defence couldn't cope with him and he forced the last minute corner...

As a person he always comes across as very decent. He always tried and I admire his commitment.

I wish him well but he was a complete and utter donkey.

I do find it strange that as a youngster he was very highly rated and one of Chelsea’s players tried to convince him to play for Nigeria rather than England. Guess it proves that good young players don’t always maintain that ability as a senior pro.

Considering he was ahead of Marriott whilst here Noubles career has gone all over the place whilst JM is in demand. Football is indeed strange.

“Incredibly talented” is incredibly generous. A serial disappointment at every club he’s been st since he nailed to oldest trick in the book of being better than others as a teenager if you’re bigger and stronger. Unfortunately for him the rest catch up and ultimately overtake you.

Or in short, he’s a donkey.
