I can see huge similarities personally. If Evans decides to pull the plug we are fooked. Most economic experts predict similar for the country if we leave the EU without a deal (or even with one).
Hopefully neither scenario will come to fruition. | |

Some people (admittedly those who haven't considered the possible consequences) are talking about wanting to force him out. People are talking about protests. Worse case scenario is that he just gives up or cuts his losses and pulls the plug. He could recoup some of his losses by selling Playford Road. Let's face it - we aren't an attractive investment for a potentual buyer right now. Without wanting to sound like Chris *spit* Sutton, maybe we really should be careful what we wish for. | |

If he puts the club up for sale “publicly” I can’t see that doing anything. Everyone knows he wants out. No one wants to buy the club because it’s a terrible business proposition that will instantly lose you at least £6m a year and more after relegation.
He won’t spend any more money even if the fans pressurise him. All that will happen will be he will shrink further into the shadows.
If he pulls the plug, the club goes bust.
