Also, remember how I told you all that basically most Tories and Labour MPs believe the same thing and they may as well join forces? Yeah.

They need a few leavers to join them though otherwise they are in danger of becoming a one trick pony.
I'd like to see John Mann join them.
Weird though innit. Chuka and his crew leave because the Labour party is too left wing and now Anna and her lot leave because the Tories are too right wing. It's almost as if these people are idiots with no understanding of history.

Clearly fed up with the rampant Islamophobia and misogyny in the Tory party. No wonder it's three women quitting. Shameful.
The group can no longer be dismissed as just a bunch of people upset with the Labour leadership. It's now a cross-party breakaway with people disillusioned by politics from both the main parties. This can only be a good thing as it highlights the bad things from both sides.
It'll be interesting to see how far it goes. Depending on the next brexit vote do we think it could get up to SNP levels? Still a long way to go until it's near that level of MPs.

I suppose it would depend on if they become some sort of populist one-issue party like the SNP. That way they can promise milk and honey to both Tories and Labour voters while campaigning for a new EU referendum. Is there really much appetite to continue this debate now? Not saying I'm against it, it just seems the country is so Brexit-weary that it may damage their chances of being elected.

Article 50 extension (if it please the Hun and the Frog or course) and a Gen Elec in the Summer looking more likely by the day now innit.

They'd have to move bloody quickly for that to happen. Just can't see how they'd be capable with the current number of defectors and May wanting to run down the clock for her deal. Though I do suppose they now represent a group (not party currently) that could increase the pressure on extending Article 50. Interesting times.

What is it that you are so unhappy about? Why are you questioning her gender?
l have no time for the woman. She was threatening to resign the day Brexit was announced, she never did, and has whinged constantly ever since. She is at best a back bencher, and hopefully she will now disappear back there. As this NEW party wont take off, and is just a distraction for a few who cant get over Brexit.
