Glastonbury then 19:06 - Jun 30 with 13077 views | Steve_M | What's worth watching from this year? I've had the cricket on all day today, and most of yesterday, so haven't seen much. Interpol were superb to start things off. [Post edited 30 Jun 2019 22:10]

Glastonbury then on 19:24 - Jun 30 with 6431 views | GlasgowBlue | Johnny Marr. Fantastic set. Who needs Morrissey?
| |
Glastonbury then on 19:26 - Jun 30 with 6437 views | Oldsmoker | They were broadcasting on the Red button and on Iplayer as well. I suspect Iplayer will have quite of lot of acts not shown on TV. The Chemical Brothers last night were superb - but I'm biased. The visuals were rather special.

Glastonbury then on 19:32 - Jun 30 with 6407 views | ITFC_Forever | Kylie’s currently being a class act on BBC1. Bastille were decent enough, only seen bits of The Killers, but they were good, so was Liam. Caught one song of Sheryl Crow on the red button.... she looked decent too. Don’t waste your time with Janet Jackson or Stormzy.

Glastonbury then on 20:13 - Jun 30 with 6326 views | JakeITFC | Seen the below so far: The Wombats - a bit of 2008 nostalgia, but remain a really tight live band with a good back catalogue Stormzy - iconic performance, really great show Interpol - brilliant as you say Tame Impala - highlight so far for me, a band I really want to see live George Ezra - easy enough listening The Courteeners - fairly standard Liam Gallagher - still can’t sing but has some bangers Slowthai - absolute carnage, he’s off his face on something during this set and it’s as chaotic as you’d assume from him Gerry Cinnamon - a typically good set, really does get people going live Hot Chip - watching now, will definitely try to see them this year. Really looking forward to the Streets tonight.
Glastonbury then on 20:26 - Jun 30 with 6291 views | factual_blue | David Attenborough was the best.
| |
Glastonbury then on 20:27 - Jun 30 with 6285 views | vapour_trail | Jorga Smith was a new one for me. She was great. Jon Hopkins tried and trusted, was excellent. Stormzy. Believe the hype. Not seen any since Friday, been away at a much smaller version, although the missus is watching kylie now. Will download some stuff for the commutes later based on tips.

Hot chip are the bo11ocks live. What was their cover? They did the beasties when I saw them recently. Didn’t know the streets were playing, would love to be at that.

Not sure it's possible for the Killers to any more overrated. Bland as fook.

They’re playing UEA in October, gonna sort tickets now. The Streets are the best live band I’ve ever seen, Mike Skinner is a hero.

I’ve never managed to catch him regrettably. OPM is in my top five albums.

Glastonbury then on 20:46 - Jun 30 with 6223 views | Bent_double | Billie Eilish was OK - never heard of her before, but pretty good for a 17yr old! Got Damon Albarns latest group (The Good, The Bad and the Queen) on BBC4 at the moment, OK if you like his stuff I guess.

Glastonbury then on 20:54 - Jun 30 with 6198 views | Melford | Haven't seen much so far, been working for most of it. Mac de Marco, The Charlatans and The Chemical Brothers I've watched so far. Currently 20 mins into Wu Tang Clan enjoying a Camberwell Carrot.

Glastonbury then on 21:06 - Jun 30 with 6165 views | Dubtractor | Not watched much so far, pretty disappointing lineup for my tastes this year. Few bits that I'll watch during the week, but have seen: Charlatans - alarmingly pedestrian. Tame Impala - excellent, though I'm not too arsed on their newer stuff. Michael Kiwanuka - very good. Fontaines DC - amazing set from one of the best new bands of the year Mattiel - Excellent Janet Jackson - watched out of curiosity. Was a bit weird, her vocal mega low in the mix, but actually not that bad. I had set expectations VERY low though.

I thought the Charlatans were massively disappointing... no presence at all. You can say what you like about Liam (or The Killers for that matter), but they owned that stage while they were on and put on a show. But no-one did it better than Kylie.

That One hour and twenty three minutes of Jon Hopkins is the only Glasto 2019 I have watched on iPlayer so far but the light show is very good, almost detracts from the music. Recommended.

I thought the Charlatans were good, not amazing but good. They only got the call late last week because Snow Patrol were booked for that slot and had to pull out at short notice due to injury, this time last week they had no ideas about playing Glastonbury, much less get a well-oiled set together for a big gig. They were a late sub.

Glastonbury then on 21:50 - Jun 30 with 6037 views | baxterbasics | I feel the need to out myself as a bit of a Miley Cyrus convert now. She sings better than either Janet or Kylie. (Who got five stars in the Guardian - really?) On the whole though I'm depressed because The Prodigy were supposed to be headlining.

Ah, that I didn’t know. Will give them the benefit of the doubt then, as I like them generally.

When that came out I was living the exact same lifestyle he was talking about and that album ***king resonated with me.
