Hmm I would find that a little odd.
If we're going to sparingly use the loan market I would think a striker and winger would be higher priorities. Developing their youngster when we have Kenlock? Not sure about that.

He's now 26 and has only played 5 times for Everton. Been out on loan for 3 of the last 4 seasons at the likes of Wigan and Oxford.
Oxford want him back on loan. Quite simply he isn't going to break through at Everton now in his mid 20's. Can't imagine they'd want much for him (£250,000) which will no doubt be a kings ransom for us, but for a full back that would be a big upgrade on what we have and could potentially step up, I'd take him.
Along with Nathan Thompson on a free, that would be a decent pair to strengthen a weak part of the team.
