A knock maybe, or maybe its just he is 34 years old tsoon, and we could hit 60 games this season, and you have to have a squad that can cope with that, not just a first XI.
Although there does seem to be the odd person on here who is in the frame of same XI every game. |  |

I'm not as shocked by this as some on here.
It's a long season, so players will be rested every now and then. A home game against a relatively weaker opposition seems like an ideal time to do it. Wilson needs game time to make sure he's ready to compete when called upon. |  | | |

You would think Lambert would’ve sat him down and explained his reasoning. I’ve seen managers do it in the past, it almost serves as a message to the rest of the dressing room saying ‘look, nobody is safe from being left out, captain or otherwise’. What a signal of confidence in Woolfy too.
