I think Labour will do better than expected - noises around Momentum's social media campaign are promising (and I think maybe the reason why the Tories are getting a bit desperate with their own stunts), and if you look at polls that expect a decent under 35 turnout it's already getting quite close. Hung parliament again with slightly different arithmetic? I hope so!

A slightly different arithmetic? Well, here is what I am hoping for then:

Greens 474
Scottish Greens 21
Lib Dems 137
Alliance 17
Speaker 1

Poll: How will we get fourteen points from the last five games ?

Nah. I'm alright thanks.

So maybe the Labour manifesto is a bit socialist and not so social-democratic as the SNP's Scotland afterall.

Hasn't there been 1 million under 30s register to vote as well - that will have the Tories panicking

Something like that number, yes - and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people who say they'll vote Lib Dem will trickle over before the day itself as it looks ever more like another two horse race.

Genuine question but haven’t there apparently been huge volumes of under 30’s registering to vote for about the last 3 years? How much of that is actually people suddenly being engaged, compared to just those that are now of voting age registering which is always the case?

Instinctively I feel Labour already took most of that chunk available to them at the last election - and probably a danger of losing some of that chunk to the Lib Dem’s, not to mention the Greens with the increased engagement on climate change. It could even work in the Conservatives favour

I think this has been part of a big push for the election but looked enough into that to know so am guessing from tidbits heard from no doubt a spin machine.

I think when it comes down to it, it will end up Labour v Tory and LDs and Greens don't make any impact - this is what happened in 2017 and can see it happening again. But guess we'll see

The thought that youngsters vote for labour and the cult is a myth. Many of them are naive enough to be between boris and BP

I think you’re right broadly - as I posted earlier I think some Lib Dem voters will swing back to Labour as the reality nears that preventing a Tory majority is more important than backing the full remain party, but I still expect to see both them and the Greens have an increased vote share from last time, which will probably benefit the Tories more than Labour

If this utter shower of a Tory Party win a majority then the country is beyond help and repair. I suspect we will see a small Tory majority.

Libs will gain more votes from disgruntled anti-Corbyn Tories than Labour.

They were doing this unintentionally to begin with, but their entire campaign has become so far-fetched that the only possible explanation is that their target is anti-Corbyn Tory votes.

No, not at the moment

We were talking specifically about the under 30’s vote

Disgruntled Tory remainers will have long been reflected in the polls
