Burnham, Cooper or Starmer need to be voted in. The amount of nonsense and misinformation in this election has been incredible and people's lives will be made significantly worse. It needs to change.

If Labour go back to centralist the misinformation by the press will continue. Milliband and Brown couldn’t beat them either. I’ll likely go back to wasting my vote on Green.

mate the centre is a very welcoming place. we'll take anyone.
| And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show |

Agreed. Loving Corbyn, he can do no wrong. Now want him out....... Fickle bunch, though I think most of us have realised he is a sh!te leader and if labour had a decent leader they would have probably won this. Shame it's a few years too late!

Starmer will be next PM of this country after BJ...well i can only hope but without Scotland could be very hard for Labour to ever win another general election

Here we go with the polarisation....... Most people on here have been voting against the Tories rather than for Corbyn, and defending him from the ridiculous claims rather than being all in on him

I’ve concluded that no leader will ever get into power unless they let the rich do what they want. Ambition for a fairer society is dead. You either pander to letting money being power or you are destroyed by the press as doing anything remotely socialist that works in other countries is bad. At least I can tell the y00f it wasn’t my fault they no longer have free healthcare or any foot up on the ladder.

I've decided to do something and join The Labour Party on 23:46 - Dec 12 with 1683 views | sohamblue74 | It's a massive missed opportunity for Labour and a really bleak night for the UK. How can so many people be conned by Boris' lies and slogans? Jess Phillips would be my choice for Labour leader. Doubt she's interested though after horrible misogynist abuse on social media. Brexit will ruin this country for many years and negatively impact the future of our kids. Bl00dy Francoise and Farage will be rubbing our faces in it tomorrow. I've not felt this empty since my Mum died last year. Might be time to move to Scotland. Merry Christmas.

What will Labour say in 2024 if Boris hasn't sold the NHS to Trump? [Post edited 12 Dec 2019 23:47]

If I could be bothered going through the threads I could find evidence but I can't. I know I have read a lot of pro-labour stuff on here over the past few weeks. I know there are a lot of people who were not sure who to vote for. However they didn't want to vote for corbyn (for various different reasons). I still believe a decent labour leader and they would have won! My point is that people are now saying he should go. He should have gone after the last election really. Anyway it's not over yet but if the exit polls are that wrong, they shouldn't bother doing them haha

You defended the indefensible. You were doing it as recently as last evening. When the EHRC published their report in the new year I hope you have the stones put your hands up. edit. I'm off to bed. I no longer have a dog in this fight. [Post edited 12 Dec 2019 23:54]

The exit polls won't be that wrong, Blythe Valley proves that if it was in any doubt for anyone. They'd been boxed into a corner on this, their Brexit position was impossible - but they, and the LDs were a big issue in this, should never have let the Tories out of the box they'd locked themselves in. They could have continued twisting the screw against them, but didn't as LDs thought they'd get 40 seats

No I didn't. Yeah I will hold my hands up if that happens, however I'll wait till the outcome of the investigation before I make a judgement. Pretty sure Homelessness and Food Banks are indefensible but you voted for that in 2010, 2015 and 2017.

Something different I imagine. But if Johnson goes through with his bulldozer Brexit and has to do a trade deal with the USA the NHS is f*cked, even staff have said it won’t survive another 5 years as it is and I bet that promised small investment promise dies fairly fast.

It seems the Lib Dems have hugely messed up with their aggressive approach. Hopefully Swinson will lose her seat and they can get someone a bit more likeable (not that they'll have many to choose from...)
