Too late for Christmas but I bought some peccaorino from an Italian bloke on Felixstowe Market (I know...) and it was superb.

I can't stand supermarket vegan cheese. Artisan cashew cheese is where it's at. I got a deluxe hamper from I Am Nut OK this year. Epic.

The Snowdon range is fantastic. We got them in Caernarfon at a lovely deli. All little different coloured roundels.

I just can't get along with the coconut oil based ones. They have a bit of a weird texture and taste synthetic. Cashew cheese however is marvellous.

Christmas cheese haul. on 13:18 - Dec 24 with 913 views | Lord_Lucan | I have been a bit lazy on the cheese front this year but I bought a couple of uninteresting cheese boards from Waitrose and topped up with a variety of blue cheeses and a goats cheese. I was however in Makro yesterday buying half a cow and they had some soft cheese reduced so I bought it - and just had some with some toasted flatbreads. Oh my, taste sensation. I knew it would be good as soon as I opened it and it stank like a tramps balls. Just had another look and it was Lincet Chaource

Any you’d recommend? Saw a recipe for cashew Camembert recently but it’s a lot of prep for a snack. Will likely still try it at some point though.

Given that I'll be in the presence of children for the whole of christmas day I'll probably give the w@nk a miss this year.

I love a twiglet but annoyed that the are all mini ones now. Love a salted pretzel as well, I got some extra salted ones from somewhere the other day and it was like eating the sea. Blooming lovely. May have been Aldi??

I Am Nut OK are absolutely nailing cashew cheese. Any of their varieties are good. Tyne Chease is also good and the Kinda Co Farmhouse variety is also very tasty, has a proper cheddar like tang. Edit - this vegan camembert is also very close to a dairy one, my girlfriend isn't vegan and she said she'd struggle to tell the difference: https://www.greenbaysupermarket.co.uk/products/mouses-favourite-camembert-140g [Post edited 24 Dec 2019 13:53]
