That doesn't sound a very good deal to me - given his performances for them this season, it should be more - or hold tight and allow other interested clubs to bid in the summer. No way should it be less than the fee agreed last summer. |

Interesting. Struggling to see where the squad really needs strengthening. I think a winger would be the area that needs it most, but looks like were moving away from a formation that uses them! |
Well we only have 4 CBs and play 3 at the back, and Edwards is playing RWB currently with KVY out until March so a couple of obvious areas there
Currently have 7 CMs to cover the 3 that start there in comparison to the squad setup at CB |  |

Are we going to be able to carry 5 senior centre halves though? I get what you're saying with 3 at the back, but can we carry another loan player there? Probably one that doesn't play either? It's not ideal, but both Donacien and Kenlock have played there (but I get they're both completely out the picture as well). |  |

Think it's more likely to be a loan or perhaps two than major additions. From what I gather, the Bart fee is lower than agreed in the summer with much of it over the course of the deal rather than up front. |
So we agree a fee for him in the summer, that falls through for whatever reason. He's now had nearly a season with them where he has returned to top form, their fans love him and multiple clubs seem to be interested in him, and we agree to a deal worse than 6 months ago. Good stuff. | | | |
