I'm always slapping backs and chatitng about who I fcked at the weekend, but I spose I'm just a silly male.

ban office football talk on 13:02 - Jan 27 with 3358 views | monytowbray | "We should be less sexist by re enforcing sexist stereotypes." Okay... They need to stop confusing "men who like sports" with "men who are c*nts who also like sports". Very much failing to diagnose the actual cause of inappropriate male behaviour, which in all honesty I don't know what it is anymore as it baffles me anyone can behave that way and have an excuse, conscious or oblivious. Someone must have told her to raise her profile by saying something controversial - not her fault that they didn't mention 'just don't be sexist to men *and* woman' [Post edited 27 Jan 2020 13:06]

ban office football talk on 13:07 - Jan 27 with 3309 views | SouperJim | "A lot of women, in particular, feel left out," she told the BBC's Today programme. "They don't follow those sports and they don't like either being forced to talk about them or not being included." Lovely bit of a sexism. So should discussion about pursuits popular with women be similarly excluded?

ban office football talk on 13:07 - Jan 27 with 3300 views | LankHenners | Would be very surprised if this wasn’t a case of some company wanting attention and trying to get it by creating some faux outrage cycle. The premise that women aren’t interested in sport is an odd (and outdated) one. Plus quotes such as the one you highlighted are laughable.

My Mum got me into Football and ITFC, not my Dad. I'm sure she'd have a few choice words. Years ago GMTV did a phone in about "what women will be doing during the World Cup in the evening with Corrie and Eastenders being cancelled or delayed." Doesn't really sound too progressive these days. But I remember my Mum saying "I might phone in and tell them I'll be watching the f*cking football!"

There'll be calls for her head on a platter by the end of the day and an awkward meeting with the PR who suggested this outing, by the evening.

My late step mother that got me into watching ITFC, prior to this my only experience of football involved where ever my father played on Saturday afternoons / Sunday mornings - lots of hairy assed men, shouting, spitting, swearing and talking about "who sp*nked who" the previous night [but that was the 70s... sure it's not like that anymore...]

As I'll not be around in fifty years' time to witness that happening, I'm not too bothered by your risible threat.
