You're not providing balance - you're skewing things.
Mick's signing were on larger wages but generally picked up for free or thereabouts.
"Had they signed 6 players on 20k a week with no big transfer fees on 2 year deals".
So they chose to not take the same approach and it failed.
They had enough funding along with what was already at their disposal. And spunked it.

How about Bart? What was he worth when they took on the team, clearly was and still is a very good Championship player. With the aforementioned Doig comments and the pathetic treatment prior to the Norwich game, they are probably 90% of the reason we are about to lose a £2m goalkeeper for peanuts.

Yup I said we were lower mid table and someone rightfully pointed out we actually finished a flattering 12th. Apologies. My other points were look at the squad they were given and the transfer policy they were instructed to follow by the owner. People talking about their man-management etc as if I was defending this or saying they did well here - but clearly a thirst to gang up on someone with the replies - you go boys some great material
The only point you made was ‘they were given an established championship team’ ,go look at the squad they were given son, you said. So just having a quick look now taking out the players who left and those sold before they could play them, sure you used same theory and hands up you were spot on, in fact to eat more humble pie I’ve put a team together that would be a match for any championship side here you go:
