Terrible mistake today and time for Holy to come back in but no excuse of the sarcastic applause and cheering that was coming from some of our supposed fans today.
I also think Holy should be back in between the sticks, but booing your own players after they make a mistake is hardly going to make them play better, is more likely to make them more edgy and make another mistake.
Appreciate that the goalkeeping subject is a touchy one, but whoever the keeper is on the pitch, jeering them after they make another mistake is not going to help the team but it will help the opposition. [Post edited 1 Feb 2020 19:38]

Have to agree with your second paragraph there, he's done it a couple of times but not got caught out, he tried it one too many times today and came unstuck. I never like any keeper doing that, time for showboating is not when you are 1-0 down in an important match. | |
