So, in effect, a lockdown under another name on 18:15 - Mar 16 by Ely_Blue | No it’s a definition of dealing with the problem as the circumstances change which they are doing on a daily basis |
Otherwise known as winging it. There are actual real countries who are ahead of us on this which we could take a lead from but no. The WHO are telling us what to do but no.

FFS, everyone's winging it. There's no definitive way of saying whether country A or B is doing things the right way or the wrong way!

Where did I mention any party? I just said the NHS is underfunded and many professionals have said it would likely cause problems. Not to mention, if this is unchartered territory surely you are admitting the approach just 3 days ago outlined was worrying?

Everyone's winging it yes, but there's plenty of evidence of what's helped elsewhere to base our actions on. When they fail to do that (which they still are I should add with a lack of testing) it becomes a problem.

So, in effect, a lockdown under another name on 18:08 - Mar 16 by manchego | When the advice is changing every few days on the back of the latest numbers, that's the definition of winging it. |
And they said 2 weeks ago advice would change based on the situation. This is a constant moving situation it's not a Hollywood movie, Brad Pitt isnt going to survive a plane crash and discover the cure.

Why do you think that any 2 countries set of circumstances are identical just in the same way as 2 individual families or towns circumstances are the same, if that was truly the case why didn’t Italy follow China’s lead then? We have to allow our services and government to deal with this in the best way that they can and that they feel is right, I don’t see you slagging off other countries for “winging it” as you put it. Why don’t you grow up and stop undermining what the people in power and the experts in this country are trying to do?

You can learn from those who already gone through the stage we’re at. We don’t need to totally wing it at this point.

Calculated risks. We are in uncharted territory. The government have advisors who will be studying this night and day. What measures have you taken personally?

Why? Who's to say Italy have gone about things the right way? Or China for that matter? If we can limit loss of life another way, why shouldn't we do that?

PS4. Working my way through the original Twilight Zone series. Gonna do all of them. A few film recommendations. Two books on the go. Louis Theroux’ and Damien Echols’ autobiographies. A fair bit of decent vegan food. A pair of dumbbells. My cat. Yourself?!

Seb came home from school with a cough on Friday. His mum kept him off school today, but only told me this afternoon. She left him with her mother, who is in her 60’s and on immunosuppressant drugs. MrsN and I went to the IVF clinic today to check on all that. A scan in a couple of weeks. I’ve got an Xbox One. I don’t know what I am doing half the time to be honest. I’ve spent a fair bit of time doing odd jobs around the house. Changed Seb’s room around a bit to make use of his mid sleeper, giving him a den underneath. He thinks it’s cool as anything and wants to sleep underneath. We had the hearing dog Saturday night through to Sunday evening. That was cute. Just called MrsN’s mum to make sure she has everything she needs etc. We have been watching Justified, again. Quite like that series. I’ve also been watching Hunters when MrsN is at work. As for books I have almost finished Titanic, Minute by Minute. I’ll soon be looking for more stuff to read. No news on me next going back to sea. Who knows what’s going to happen.
