should we be completely avoiding all shops where possible now? 10:29 - Mar 23 with 1622 views | sparks | Was going to get grow bags and such but now thinking better of it. How about online stuff? Surely deliveries are a major potential source of infection from packaging and contact with drivers who are visiting loads of homes and handling lots of packages?

| Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me.
Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing.
Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial.
Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid.
Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.

We get the Aldi equivalent but they are pretty scarce. Things like these/hand gel and all essentials should be posted to every resident in this country but cannot see this government even thinking of doing this.

If they implement lockdown that's me done for a month. I'm not stepping outside the boundaries of my home/garden if I can help it.

I get a lot of post & deliveries & simply can't do that with every item or it'd take me hours of time which I don't have. I tip all items out of their envelopes or outer cardboard boxes, put the actual items in a box & leave them for 3 days, by which time the virus will have died on paper/cardboard (plastic takes longer). You can read the contents of many letters by just ripping the top & holding by bottom corner. The outer envelopes or boxes I burn or put in recycling if that's more than 3 days away. Then wash hands properly after handling.
