What a load of nonsense. Nothing she said was inaccurate

Dominic Cummings broke the rules - FACT

He's made many people feel they can flout the rules - FACT, the police have said people have used Cummings as an excuse when being told off for breaking the rules

Public mood is anger at Cummings - FACT, literally all opinion polls have a large majority for him to resign, or at least apologise

As Mr O'Brien says, you cannot balance fact with fiction.

You'd have to ask Phil for the exact reason for its removal.

The link has been removed, so it could have been down to interpretation.

I wasn't the only one to interpret it that way. As the moderator saw fit to remove it, I will give you the benefit of the doubt.

Well that's big news. Willful idiots with an axe to grind read whatever they want into a statement because it suits them to. Big whoop.

I just call it lying though. That's my opinion. Doesn't matter what you think anyway, I know what I said.

I’m not sure that’s fair. Disagreeing with someone’s views, and arguing robustly against them, isn’t the same as being intolerant of it. This forum, and life in general, would be very dull if everyone went around agreeing with each other or just saying ‘agree to disagree’ without any debate.

I agree with you re personal insults but you do rather go on the wind up sometimes tbf.

Spruce got pelters in that thread that you use an example, from people on all sides.

Don't get sucked in - it's deliberate and he's always done it.

Provoke, cry about insults, poke some more, play victim...

It's the same groundhog routine.

Actually I didn't. I got a few fake outrage blubs from people who didn't actually read what I wrote. But those were just the usual suspects. Mainly the same half wits who got all up in arms that time I compared Farage to a cancer on British politics.

I agree that debate is healthy, and perhaps that something a bring to the forum.

I don't intend to wind up, but I guess sometimes I defend myself too robustly.

I have now given Spruce the benefit of the doubt re his comment on the PM that was removed.

I like your balanced and considered response!

I've never been one for a lot of the BBC-bashing that goes around but on matters like this they're an utter disgrace. As the article points out, they get themselves tied up in knots over and over again on stuff like this and at best makes them look incompetent.

Phil is a man of honour, I wouldn't expect him to tell me why he had removed an offensive post. Unless of course I was the author, and that's never happened.

Trust me, it's not easy being a pragmatic centrist on here when so many have been brainwashed by momentum.

I merely try to add balance.

...and refrain from personal insults.

Like I said the other day (before he cried off to Phil and got the post deleted), everything about him suggests he's a troll account that can't be bothered to stick to his own bit properly or just a genuine thicko.

Either way he's a sad case.
