I make a point of remaining a dispassionate observer on the forum as I can't stand the level of bile, smugness, point-scoring and virtue signalling endemic on any social media platform, but can't help wading in when people start slagging Ipswich off as a place to live. The OP is (hopefully) being ironic in saying Ipswich is better (my old man lived in Norwich for a decade and it really is one of the nicest places to live in Britain) but Ipswich is also a cracking place to call home, and only getting better... |  |

No. It's got loads of parks. Mousehold Heath is an incredible forest/green space/heath less than a mile from the city centre. Witlingham is about a mile from the city centre. There's a few other large parks less than a mile from the centre as well. | |

It certainly doesn't have one right in the city centre, like most places, but like Herbivore said, there is so many lush ones less than a mile away. |  |
