Pulled some leeks from garden & home-grown spuds for making my fav tonight, plus butternut squash, parsnips, peas, runner beans for a complete meal :) |  |

In Poland they make a soup called Zurek.
Sour Rye (like a liquid Sourdough) base, with white smoked sausage, potato, boiled egg and seasoned with pepper, marjoram and garlic..
Its the best hangover cure ever! And you need that in Poland after a night on the vodka shots.
Often served inside a round loaf of bread. If anyone goes to Poland (and isnt Vegan), they have to try it.
