For starters it was painfully obvious that Nolan was having a shocker and Edwards was non existant. They should have been hooked at half time.
We should also be playing Woolfenden and McGuiness by now. Forget they did well against some dross sides, we should be picking our best team | |

To be fair I said I’d keep Lambert for the start of the season, but you won’t get anywhere beating the poorer sides, but coming up trumps against anyone in the top 6. Not good enough agreed, although probably don’t feel as extreme as you. Although my patience is wearing thin with him.
I have to say too many of these players are poor though, certainly some bright sparks, but too many are mid tableish League 1 footballers, and that’s where we will probably end up I think. |  |

So, in your opinion, what team and tactics should he be playing. I sure as sh it wouldn't want McGuinness and Wolfie playing together, McGuinness has no experience and Wolfie has very little, Chambo and Ward are up the pitch so neither of them can marshal them.

He’s not been providing what we needed; Nolan’s played better on the whole.
We’re seriously missing Downes and I go back to looking at the suggestion I made for of playing Woolfenden or McGuiness in front of the defence to try and replicate that role, especially against the ‘better’ sides. They can’t do any worse than the powderpuff players we have in our squad currently. | |
