Desperation selection really, so much youth in there - Dobra decision inexplicable really

I likened it to Hurst's team that he threw together at Leeds for what proved to be his last game.

Yeah, goes from not even on the bench to starting. Same with Gibbs last time.

Just doesn't give you a feeling that it's based on deep thought and wisdom. Rather just a random set of names thrown together. Bennets plus Dobra too inexperienced for me

Nice to see Nolan back. Gets stick on here but knows how to play the position.

Presumably it means Lankester in the middle though. Not keen on that unless he's really advanced, in the #10 role.

Big night for Dobra, good for him finally getting a chance.

We could stick that team out in an U23s game and it would meet the eligibility criteria - Nolan got a huge load to carry as only experience in front 5.

Start badly abs this could get ugly

Powering up the old bingo machine one last time.

Can really see us struggling here and getting somewhat bullied. I know we've all been calling for Lambert to bring in more of the youth players but this has gone a bit too far the other way.

Dobra subbed off at half time?

What odds will you give me!?

I will stick an extra £10 to that charity if Dobra makes it past the 52 minute mark.

Certainly a big night for them, but equally if 19/20/21 year olds like Dobra, Drinan, Bennetts are intimidated by Oxford away in an empty stadium then that's a worry.

In terms of experience, it's really 1 kid in for another in terms of Dobra and McGavin. You're right it's a big night for Nolan to boss that midfield. Bennetts too, he's got some ability but needs to show a level of maturity tonight that's been missing. Doesn't appear very street wise, and decision making is questionable.

With all due respects to your opinion I honestly just spluttered and coughed when I read
'Nolan to boss the midfield'.

I know that is a matter of opinion but I cannot imagine Nolan bossing a midfield if any of the opposition were older than eleven.

We shall see.

Lol fair point, he's not managed to boss anything in his 2 years here so not sure why I'm hopeful tonight. I do think he's a very tidy footballer, just wish he grew some bigger balls. He's one of the senior ones now, needs to start acting like it.

Huge night for Ward, Chambo & Nolan anchoring that lot. I'd have had Judge rather than Nolan as I thought he played really well on Saturday, but realise I'm on my own on that one!

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?
