Who would you have as a replacement to Lee O'Neill a.k.a the Puppet 13:50 - Dec 2 with 2216 views | Kesgrave_Exile | So I think it's pretty evident that the puppet is way out of his depth in his current role. Who would people have as his replacement? I would have, rather controversially bring back Sheepshanks. He loves the club, has the experience of running the club and I think would be the man to deliver genuine change at the club as he would instantly command everyone's respect for not what he has achieved at town but also his work with the F.A. I appreciate he is still hated by some.

Sheepshanks would command everyone's respect? It's his failings that started our 19 year decline.

A bit harsh on Sheepy there. In principle there was nothing wrong with the players we signed to cope with fighting on the European front alongside all the domestic stuff. We'd have had to have offered decent contracts to attract them (and presumably Burley pushed for those players too). It all unravelled based on what happened in the dressing room and on the pitch, not the the boardroom Yes it went wrong, but it must be much harder to deal with such rapid change than anything Evans has had to manage.
