It’s worse than that, they don’t think they are out of their depth and are doing a brilliant job.

Many Conservative MP's think the government is out of their depth, this is mainly because the only MP's who allowed in the cabinet have to be brexit supporters, regardless of whether or not they know what they are doing. I can't see Boris lasting too long into the new year as PM, especially if his brexit deal causes chaos and shortages. he orchestrated and led the campaign to leave and is now responsible for the exit deal with the EU, if it is not a good deal for Britain it is entirely down to Boris and his inability to negotiate the great deal he promised us all at the election.

Boris Johnson’s incompetence was alsways priced in by Tory MP’s when selecting him as the candidate to go through to the members. But they put his ability to win an election above the good of the country.

Unforgivable and they deserve a minimum of a decade in opposition.

He's a good time PM, he's nowhere near detail oriented enough for navigate us through what we're going through right now.

Out of his depth is completely right.

Even a good-time PM needs to be detail-oriented.

Absolutely right. I worked for similar characters back in the 90s and they have absolutely no self awareness. As long as they are fine then the world is.

Tbh who ever was in charge would have been wrong no matter what they did

Whilst there are many people who would have worked with the government in getting through the pandemic there are thousands who refuse to do so

We don't want lockdown
They went into lockdown to late
Oh here we go another lockdown
Lockdown wasnt long enough
I need a drink and to party
Boris is rubbish
Want to see family at Xmas
We should be cancelling Xmas

There was no way any government was going to win

a niche perspective

Did you vote for Gove at the last election?

The policy of 'controlling' the virus as opposed to eradicating it from the community has been a disaster.

Your nightmare that you have helped create

Might be an idea if you showed a bit of backbone and took a bit of ownership rather than attempting to pass the blame
