Yes, fair. So if we can shift them, early Jan its probably more like £150k saving between then and their contracts expiring at the end of June, but half of it re-investable. Still not to be sniffed at if they're not going to contribute anything on the pitch.
I think aside from the financial advantages it's easier to manage a trimmer squad. We need sufficient depth but when a squad is too bloated it goes too far the other way. [Post edited 18 Dec 2020 15:20]
