If lambert does eventually get the sack 22:35 - Jan 24 with 1117 views | simoitfc | And evans pays him off there’s no way we will be after the likes of cook or cowleys. It will be in house appointment or smaller name unemployed coach. My guess would be dyer, butcher with input from chambers and klug until end of season

If lambert does eventually get the sack on 23:02 - Jan 24 with 929 views | MattinLondon | Think Evans will put off and put off sacking Lambert and will install Dyer and Butcher. Then will cowardly disappear from off the radar until the end of the season. Depending on results he’ll either give Dyer the job in a permanent footing or will go after some insipid choice who has been on the managerial merry go round for years - Tim Sherwood. If you’d like a shot-in-the-dark then I’ll add Phil Parkinson. Not the ex-Hull manager but rather the one at Altrincham. Plays attractive football and has done a fantastic job.

League Two it is then. Would be absolute madness to put another novice or have a go hero in charge of this absolute disaster. See Bryan Gunn. It's bad enough we have a PE teacher running the day to day at the club.

If lambert does eventually get the sack on 23:12 - Jan 24 with 857 views | Seablu | I fear Simon Grayson or some such monstrosity. The only certainty is, ME won’t get it right. The best hope is that he gets it marginally less wrong. I still dream that the last 3 years has been a massive candid camera stunt and Bielsa will walk in with his translator and say ‘Yeah, I’ll give it a go’

Another novice? Jim was a novice manager and did very well until Evans come in. Keane, Jewell, Lambert and Mick all, to some extent, had managerial experience - none really worked out. [Post edited 24 Jan 2021 23:15]

The same as with possibly the exception of Hurst Lambert has always paid at least the going rate for Managers, sometimes perhaps to the detriment of the club. He might get it very badly wrong with managers but I don't think he can be accused of skimping on their salaries. Transfer funds yes maybe, salaries no.

Like Lee Bowyer for instance? In truth, none of us know. But I'm not sure why you have such a downer on Dyer. Bryan Gunn?! Nice modern reference there. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
