With Evans selling Jackson to pay off Lambert.
Got in the youngster (Swan?) instead.
Jackson needs to be playing and in two, so preferable for him too.
Come on Bournemouth, renew your interest.

My nervousness with Jackson is his contract is up in the summer, and although we've got an option on him, I would imagine his wages are half decent and given the salary cap, I wouldn't be surprised if we let him walk away on a free. I would rather we took £500k for him today and gave it to Lambert to p1ss off.

Lambert wanted Jackson sold to fund transfers as they don’t get on. Evans didn’t allow this and blocked him going. This is what I’ve heard quite reliably and while I have no proof if true it makes sense to me.

I would have sold him in the summer. If we’re playing one up front he’s a very expensive chasing the game sub. I’d sell for that deal now as well.

Right now I would be open to Evans selling one of my kidneys if it means we are rid of Lambert.

He's nowhere near good enough for a Champ team chasing promotion.

Interesting with today’s news.
I saw the headline about Jackson and thought my prayers had been answered. It’s only a possible loan however. More concerning is Parrott coming in, unless ME is in dialogue with another manager with regards to transfers it looks like he’s still putting his eggs in the Lambert basket.

1.5 years on his deal with the option should mean we can recoup at least what we paid. Im some ways us never ever playing to his strengths should mean his value has held strong because he hasn't been tested and the potential is still alive

We're only looking to loan him anyway.

What I can't understand is why Jackson's had so little game time this year and has been used in a different way, when he had the top assists and joint top goals last season. The partnership upfront last year was one small highlights and Lambert's abandoned it. And we're scrabbling around trying to find someone who can create and/or score. It's all a bit unfathomable.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?
