Exceptional performances 20:48 - Feb 17 with 1118 viewsbritbiker

I know the managment has been dire for years but when was the last time one of our players put in an exceptional performance.

You see it with other teams, but i'm struggling to think of many times I've watched and thought a single player has ruled a game.

Grant Ward's 40 minute debut hat trick in 2016. Finidi's debut performance? . I almost feel let down that both of those were their highlights at rhe club.

There must be loads I have forgotten but it appears that a single good pass during 90 minutes now constitutes an acceptable performance.

Probably Magilton v Bolton in the infamous 5-3

You're talking once in a generation or two performance with those examples, so not many players are going to live up to those levels. We put in some very good performances in the first month of this season. I know that seems hard to believe now.

Tabby, every time he played.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

I remember him leaping like a salmon once to score from a header. Put a big smile on my face.

Probably my best night at Portman Road.
The rare goal from Priskin against Arsenal in the cup was good (remember those days when we actually played in cup games), but you always thought we wouldn't be able to hold the lead for the second leg.

I know not a single player but how about Bent and Ambrose against Sheff U to come back from 2-0 down with ten men?

Any of Gio's games.

Bramble vs Dion Dublin or Henry in one of the Prem seasons

Just one small problem; sell their houses to who, Ben? Fcking Aquaman?

Good call. I’ll say McGoldrick on a number of occasions. A little shout for Jonny Williams too. Shame it was a bit cameo, the injuries etc

Whichever game it was when Calum Connolly kept shanking the ball straight up in the air and mcgoldrick would kill it stone dead with one touch under pressure from both of his man markers, beat them both with his next touch and start us on the attack. Probably ended 0-0. Awful game but I fell head over heels in love with him that night.

Gwion was pretty incredible on his debut against Blackburn in the 2-2 draw.

Mcgoldrick and Kane Vincent Young both played some excellent games in the last 5 years

There was this one game where Colin Healy made Fabragas look like Colin Healy...
