I assume we (those if us who bought them) still own 12.5% (was it?) of the club? Does any of this affect us?

Oh, the bitcoin and Gamestop shareholders are going to be looking on with envy. Get your Ferrari order in before I buy them all.

As I understand it Evans would sell his shareholding and any other assets such as the training ground, so our 12.5% will be unaffected unless there was an increase in the share capital, which would dilute that. I think that would need shareholder approval although presumably their holding would carry the vote

I wondered that.

I suppose Marcus Evans has only got 87.5% of the club to sell and our 12.5% is unchanged.

Suppose we will get a pint of Budweiser instead of IPA at the next Shareholder meeting.

I was going to suggest Schlitz as an alternative but apparently, it no longer exists!

What is Milwaukie famous for now?

Wasn't there mention of truck and trailer approach to our shares when Marcus initially bought the club?

So that if he ever sold it on our shares would be sold too so we benefit in the profit?

Maybe Im not remembering that right.

Maybe he'd show theres no actual profit and therefore all owed to him as debt repayment.

Does the Original Budweiser still exist (Budva) - this is a decent Czech beer....

I can't drink Bud, Migraine city after one!!! - must be one of the chemicals as the only other beer or lager I have had issues with is Tuborg which brought me out in blotches!!!

I used to like Tuborg (it was on tap in the Swan at one point in the seventies) back in the days when I thought it was acceptable to drink lager...

Anyway, maybe Budweiser should change their name to 'Migraine City':

I had a suggestion that that would still exist post-takeover, maybe not anything like 12.5 per cent but still there to some extent. Think it makes sense from a PR perspective for the new owners not to entirely wipe out the old shareholding.
