A bit random isn't it? First dropped out of the 18 by Gill (nominally Lambert), then returned for Saturday only to be absent again tonight. Yes, I know he's been struggling but he's been asked to be the senior centre back when he barely has the experience for that role.
I'm sure he does have a future with us moving forward but when we have two number tens on the bench plus three wide players (as Jackson can play out there if urgent too) it seems odd to not even give him a place there. |  |

Although this may sound harsh I think they’ve worked through luck rather than judgement to date. Eventually their luck is going to run out. |
Could say the luck went against gillingham. But the both put in a great performance against lincoln toto with 2 goal saving clearances

When I said badly served I meant pairing a 22 year old with a 19 year old in the centre of defence and expecting them to perform to the best of their abilities. It’s almost setting them up to fail and they’re both being punished for it now.
I hope you’re right he’ll work himself back into the line up. I have less faith, though not 100% sure why - gut feeling is Cook’s already written him off. | |

I can only think of one game he played at RB for us - Bristol Rovers last year. Admittedly, he wasn't great (Chambers or Woolfenden would have been better options), but seeing as it would just be if there was an injury, I think he is good enough. James Wilson can also play RB |  |

It might sound harsh but we’ve kept clean sheets through accident rather than design. We are still giving teams chances though, going by Cook’s comments, he seems to be expecting it at the moment. | |
