We’re actually playing lovely stuff. 15:17 - Mar 13 with 990 viewsSwailsey

I know Plymouth are awful but still. Really high tempo.

Is this what Hurst promised?!

A much, much better start. Being helped a lot by Plymouth, but we've still made the most of their sloppy play.

We look a totally different team. We seem to know what football is and how to play it.

As you say, Plymouth maybe flattering us with their performance so far though.

It's unrecognisable.

Players getting forward and helping the forwards and then penning them in after that.

Jackson looking good.

Agreed, this is much more enjoyable :)

Kenlock needs to pull his finger out a bit, but other than that, looking good!

Completely pressing Plymouth and forcing them into errors which makes them look awful. Jackson not isolated. Mixing it up well with the short/long balls.

Fantastic so far.

Yeah but it's the players that are rubbish, not Lambert.

Paul Cookie was just talking to his players during a break in play. Is that allowed?

We've not won yet! We dominated some of the rubbish teams under Lambo as well, including Bolton's team of 15 year old's. Lets not start dick waving just yet as there's a million miles between the likes of Lincoln and Peterborough and then Plymouth. We should be beating these sort of sides, even on a bad day.

We played with a much quicker tempo during that first 25 minutes. Slowed down a lot once Plymouth got their act together.

I can already see so many positive changes though.

We haven't look great though have we. We still look like a mid-table third division team. Considering this lot were playing in the fourth last season that doesn't exactly speak wonders for our players does it? The idea that we can change manager and suddenly turn some of these duds into stars is just unrealistic.

Well it is unrealistic. The fact is we have changed however many players around and they all look as average as each other. Where's the impact from the fresh legs?

We did beat them.

And if there's a million miles between Lincoln and Plymouth, there must be a billion between Lincoln and say ... bottom of the league Rochdale.
