He was no Black Prince. Nor, I'm guessing, ever Prince of Wales. Without looking it up I don't know who took that title after his brother died.

Then make an effort to be nice yourself and perk it all up a bit. Your panther story became legendary so you have a lot to live up to.

I try, I really do. I just can’t believe what I’m reading sometimes On the big cat front, I actually saw one in 2014. In Scotland on the Black Isle ( outside of Inverness)

You could start by changing your avatar from the two-finger salute?! Did you really see one? Is it known around there or were taking something you shouldn't at your age? Black Isle huh? I've never been but a quick Google suggests it's a fine looking place.

Since 2009 I’ve been to the highlands about 7 times. I really did, I was driving on the A9 and just before the turning of the B9163 myself and my ex wife saw a big black cat in a field. I nearly crashed the car. I could tell exactly what it was, because in the upper field there was a heard of cows. Turned out a few other people had seen it as well, as it’s been seen round there quite a few times. Made the papers.

The Black Prince's son, Richard of Bordeaux (later King Richard II). The title is associated with the heir to the throne, rather than the eldest surviving son. Altho neither Victoria nor the present Queen ever held it, nor did the future James II or William IV (brothers of childless monarchs). Presumably it would go to William if Charles died before his mother. [Post edited 15 Mar 2021 7:48]

Are you sure it wasn't a regular cat that was much closer than you realised?
